Floods to Cause Most Devastation From Hurricane

Weather experts say Hurricane Florence is moving slowly and will linger over the Mid-Atlantic coast, causing much more damage than if it moved fast. After a devastating storm surge, the rain will continue for several days, causing floods and delaying the recovery effort. VOA's Zlatica Hoke reports U.S. military and federal emergency officials say they have all the means in place to save lives and minimize destruction.
